I considered myself to be blessed to have been born and raised in this free country that has established just laws which provides checks and balances to the governing powers and that are codified and enumerated within the constitution of the United States.

I have lived in six different oriental countries of the Far East during my career with the United States Air Force. I learned to appreciate and understand to some degree their various customs and cultures. What I noticed most while dwelling in these foreign nations was that their citizens did not seem to enjoy quite that degree of individual freedom that we enjoy in our fair land. I also found that a number of those individuals that I had become acquainted with would eagerly come to America if the opportunity presented itself.

It is not by accident that we are blessed to live in the greatest country in the history of the world. It was brought about by the sacrifice and ingenuity of visionary men of conscience who were able to enjoy a freedom of movement that they coupled with their hard work and sweat to build a nation. More importantly, this nation was brought into existence and blessed by our Creator God who inspired those founding fathers to bring forth the constitution. This document if followed would continue this freedom and would be a model for the freedom of all nations.

There have been many who have gone before us who have made sacrifices and sometimes the supreme sacrifice in order to preserve this freedom. All members of our protecting armed forces are sworn to uphold the constitution when they agree to serve.

We who believe this to be a choice land must be vigilant in the preservation of this precious document that forms our nation’s foundation or we shall lose it with our freedom.

God has given us dominion over the earth and all things upon the earth. It is our responsibility to exercise stewardship for this dominion provided of God, and to consider it our duty to preserve that which has been provided for the good of all mankind.

Our scriptures have warned us that in the last days there would be those who would conspire against the freedoms of all people. This has been mostly put down by those who would destroy the works of righteousness who would usurp, if possible, even god-like authority over an uninformed people. This has been effectively accomplished by casting aspersions upon anyone who even mentions the possibility of the existence of a conspiracy to enslave people. This type of intimidation is akin to that old saying taught to us, by those who seek to exert power over us, to never argue or speak with each other in matters of politics or religion! I have to agree that arguing accomplishes very little if anything, but an informed debate without anger or fear of speaking out is a basic privilege that I personally cherish. We should not allow clichés to govern our actions especially when so important of subject concerns our constitutional government or our belief in the God of all creation. We should not apologize for defending our country or our faith in our God.

BEWARE OF SECRET COMBINATIONS : “And it came to pass that they formed a secret combination, even as they of old; which combination is most abominable and wicked above all, in the sight of God; For the Lord worketh not in secret combinations, neither doth he will that man should shed blood, but in all things hath forbidden it, from the beginning of man.. . .And whatsoever nation shall uphold such secret combinations, to get power and gain, until they shall spread over the nation, behold, they shall be destroyed, for the Lord will not suffer that the blood of his saints, which shall be shed by them, shall always cry unto him from the ground for vengeance upon them, and yet he avenge them not; Wherefore, O ye Gentiles, it is wisdom in God that these things should be shewn unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you, which are built up to get power and gain, and the work, yea, even the work of destruction come upon you; Yea, even the sword of the justice of the eternal God, shall fall upon you, to your overthrow and destruction, if ye shall suffer these things to be; Wherefore the Lord commands you, when you shall see these things come among you, that you shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you, or woe be to it, because of the blood of them who have been slain; for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who build it up. For it cometh to pass that whoso buildeth it up, seeketh to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations and countries; And it bringeth to pass the destruction of all people; for it is built up by the devil, who is the father of all lies; even that same liar who beguiled our first parents; Yea, even that same liar who hath caused man to commit murder from the beginning; who hath hardened the hearts of men, that they have murdered the prophets, and stoned them, and cast them out from the beginning.” BoM, Ether 3:92-101

“And it shall come to pass that I will establish my people, O house of Israel. and behold, this people will I establish in this land, [America] unto the fulfilling of the covenant which I made with your father Jacob; and it shall be a New Jerusalem.” 3 Nephi 9:57, 58

The Doctrine and Covenants also refers to our constitution as divinely inspired.

“And again I say unto you, Those who have been scattered by their enemies, it is my will that they should continue to importune for redress, and redemption, by the hands of those who are placed as rulers, and are in authority over you, according to the laws and constitution of the people which I have suffered to be established, and should be maintained for the rights and protection of all flesh, according to just and holy principles, that every man may act in doctrine, and principle pertaining to futurity, according to the moral agency which I have given unto them, that every man may be accountable for his own sins in the day of judgment. Therefore, it is not right that any man should be in bondage one to another. And for this purpose have I established the constitution of this land, by the hands of wise men whom I raised up unto this very purpose, and redeemed the land by the shedding of blood.” D&C 98:10d-h

“. . . and righteousness and truth will I cause to sweep the earth as with a flood, to gather out my own elect from the four quarters of the earth unto a place which I shall prepare; a holy city, that my people may gird up their loins, and be looking forth for the time of my coming; for there shall be my tabernacle, and it shall be called Zion, a New Jerusalem . D&C 36:12f, g

I believe sincerely that God intended for America to become the example for personal freedom and successful government for the whole world.

We have observed that wherever socialism or communist Marxism have been tried, it has failed to insure the freedom of the individual and it has also failed to build a just collective society. Our scriptures indicate that when the Kingdom of Christ is fully realized, we will have a free agency or voluntary not compulsory collective society, but it is to be accomplished by unselfishness and by the love of God and neighbor that is the first and greatest commandment, and not by imposition of a secular government.

I would invite all who read this to offer up their prayers with me for the preservation of our cherished freedoms that our forefathers fought and died to preserve. That freedom which is enjoyed and assured by the Constitution of the United States of America.□

As we get closer and closer to the end of the age, the saints who are real saints, who are baptized and having communion with the lord Jesus Christ, need to have an understand of what we call the end times and the preparation needed.
As we see the daily the economy of the world becoming challenged, and as the economy is very bad, and there is no peace all over the world, and if we consider all that each of us is going through, we need to understand that some thing greater will soon be happening and the fulfillment of the day of the lord is about to be fulfilled in our days;

“For the day cometh that the Lord shall utter his voice out of heaven; the heavens shall shake and the earth shall tremble, and the trump of God shall sound both long and loud, and shall say to the sleeping nations; Ye saints arise and live; Ye sinners stay and sleep until I shall call again: wherefore gird up your loins, lest ye be found among the wicked. Lift up your voices and spare not.”

To work for the kingdom is not easy and to follow him to the end of the ages, we must learn to keep the promises we made and to follow the way of the lord.

Becoming members of the House of God is a grace.   We must be ready to see that the gospel of Christ is followed according to the will of God.

The Church of Jesus Christ Restored 1830 was organized in Nigeria on the 11th of September 2005. By the efforts of Elder Albert Adesuyi.

President of Seventy Nolan W. Glauner was the missionary and member of the Acting Presidency of the Church that journeyed to Nigeria for the purpose of setting the African Church into order. This was also done in response to a revelation received by Glauner at Ibadan Nigeria, West Africa, 11 September 2005

An organizing conference was held at Ibadan, Nigeria, West Africa September 10, 2005. The purpose

of the conference was to establish and set in order the Church of Jesus Christ Restored 1830 in Africa.

Local Elders gathered and were joined by Saints from the Ivory Coast to participate in the conference.

One Seventy, three High Priests, two Elders, one Priest, three Teachers and two Deacons were ordained. Albert Ojo Adesuyi was ordained by President of Seventy Nolan Glauner to the office of Seventy and also set apart as an Agent of the Presiding Bishop at this time.

To my dear Saints in Africa who have come together by the power of my Spirit; your love for me has not been unnoticed.

I have heard your earnest prayers and it is my good pleasure to be in your midst.

Your little ones are very precious in my sight and their ministry is one of great love.

Continue the direction you have started upon and my light shall gather my wandering sheep back into my fold. Seek them all out, for I do not will that any of my lambs shall be lost.

You have responded to the call of Brother Albert and I am very pleased with the sacrifices that he has made and the dedication and love he has shared for my scattered Saints.

The forces that scattered you were not of me, but of my old enemy, the Devil. He today is raging in the hearts of those who have forsaken me and he would bring down all he can into the depths of despair.

Do not let him entice you, for you are mine. Walk in that light I have given you and you will not lose your way.

You are witness to the calling of many to act and function in my Holy Priesthood. Uphold them, my children, and they will magnify the work of my Church and my Kingdom unto you.

Seek to understand the sacred principles of the fullness of my gospel that I have delivered to you.

I have said that Zion is no further nor nearer than the Spiritual condition of my people.

Prepare all to receive the fullness of my gospel for it shall roll through the earth as the stone which is cut out of the mountain without hands.

My Kingdom shall become great like a mighty mountain and it shall fill the whole earth.

I have appointed Brother Albert to the high calling and office of Seventy in my church and have called him to shepherd my flock until further organization is effected in Africa.

I have also appointed him to be an agent to my Presiding Bishop and his gifts and talents shall help to bring my church in Africa into a greater understanding of my temporal laws.

I have sent my servant Nolan to you to renew your hope and to share in the vision of the Kingdom. Hold fast to that which you know is true and keep yourselves unspotted from the world.

To those whom I have called to serve me in my priesthood; I have heard the prayers of my servant, Albert in your behalf, and if you will magnify your callings, I will pour out my Spirit

upon you and will give you those gifts and talents to bring much righteousness to my Saints. Persevere my children. If I be for you who can stand against you? Persecutions shall come, but not of me.

Call upon me in your need and keep my commandments and I will hear you out of Heaven and will look kindly toward you. You are my dear children of whom I am well pleased. Amen

The ordinance of administration has long been a blessing and a comfort for those calling upon the church of our Lord in their needs. There have been many healings and also great blessings of comfort when the Elders are called upon to anoint the sick with pure Olive Oil, and pray for their welfare.

As Elders in the church we must teach our members and friends the benefits of this ordinance. When Jesus called his Twelve Apostles and his Seventies he gave them instructions: “Then he called his twelve disciples together, and he gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.” Luke 9: 1,2

“Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.” James 5:14,15

“And again, it is given by the Holy Ghost to some to know the diversities of operations, whether it be of God, that the manifestations of the Spirit may be given to every man to profit withal. And again, verily I say unto you, To some it is given, by the Spirit of God, the word of wisdom; to another it is given the word of knowledge, that all may be taught to be wise and to have knowledge. And again, to some it is given to have faith to be healed, and to others it is given to have faith to heal.” D&C 46:6b-7c

“And whosoever among you are sick, and have not faith to be healed, but believe, shall be nourished with all tenderness with herbs and mild food, and that not by the hand of an enemy. And the elders of the church, two or more, shall be called, and shall pray for, and lay their hands upon them in my name; and if they die, they shall die unto me, and if they live, they shall live unto me.” D&C 42:12c, d

NOTE: The church believes in the prophetic gift, but extreme care must be exercised concerning prophesying over the sick, that personal emotions do not get confused with the prompting of the Almighty.

1. Dearly beloved, it is my will that you tell my people that mine eyes are upon them.

2. My Holy Nation has been assaulted and the wicked have cast evil designs against the people of my flock.

3. Arise and awake O-children of my choice land, a land that is choice above all other lands.

4. Turn your hearts and souls toward the Lord your God even the God of this land.

5. I have established you in freedom and given you my law and my commandments, but many of you have grown cold to my word and have disregarded my counsel.

6. You have abandoned the hope for Zion and have doubted what I have promised for Zion, my righteous heritage.

8. Zion, after her pain, shall flourish and the righteous from all nations shall be gathered unto her, for when my word goes forth from my mouth it shall be fulfilled.

9. All who have turned back, and you who have traveled into strange paths, awake and know that I have prepared a way for you to return.

10. Forsake your errors that the evil one has placed in your mind and seek my word from those whom I have sent as prophets and priests from a distant age.

11. Return to my pure word and like a father to a wayward son, who returns to his father’s house, who has repented of his rebellion against his fathers laws;

12. I will embrace you and welcome you back, for you are my dear children and I have grieved for you.

13. Put off the garments that have been desecrated by the world and I shall give you a new white robe.

14. Sin no more, my children, and do not look upon sin with the least degree of allowance.

15. Sanctify your lives, your families, your homes and do that what is right and holy before your Lord.

16. Mine eyes are upon the entire world and I shall bring all things to judgment.

17. Those who would defile and destroy the cause of Zion shall fail, I have proclaimed it.

18. Woe unto those who in their hearts seek to destroy my nation which I have caused to be set up for the gathering of the remnant of Joseph.

19. They shall fail to destroy my work even thought they shall devise much evil against me.

20. I shall call forth my righteous servants, and they shall set my house in order and prepare it for the gathering of mine elect.

21. Let not your hearts be troubled. I am greater than he who I cast down, and I shall prevail over all mine enemies.

22. My kingdom shall be lifted up triumphant and after much tribulation, the earth shall rest.

23. Call upon me, my wayward children, and I will hear out of heaven and guide you home.

24. I have a place prepared for all who repent and come unto me with broken hearts and contrite spirits.

1. Mine eyes are upon the world; yea and there is not a particle which I do not see.

2. I have heard the prayers and moans of the afflicted and will answer their pain upon the head of him who rebelled from me and was cast down to earth.

3. He is even now raging in the hearts and minds of the ungodly and has caused filth and deception to cover the earth with a blanket of darkness.

4. Mine eyes pierce the darkness and search out my little ones who strive to keep my law and my commandments.

5. Those who have not given up and turned back into the world and its wickedness, once more I say, come out of her my people, or you must perish at my coming.

6. A fire shall devour before my face and all that have rebelled against me shall be as stubble.

9. I have given no other name under heaven in which you may seek your salvation, but the name of Jesus Christ, the Holy One of Israel.

10. I speak to those who have not made a covenant with me; seek me and my covenant and in obtaining it you may inherit eternal life if you persevere unto the end.

11. I will nullify your covenant with the world and the worldly which leads to death.

14. I have told you plainly that I cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance and that no unclean thing can come near my throne and live.

15. I have told you plainly that you must be born again of living water and of fire and the Holy Ghost.

16. I have given you the way to enter into eternal life and nullify your covenant with death.

17. Do not think that I have authorized anyone to act in my behalf unless I have called them through those whom I have appointed within my restoration.

18. The terms compromise and concession do not come from me, for I am a God of truth and Holy is my name.

19. All my words are pure and true and do not change, neither can my commandments and laws be compromised nor can concessions be made with my gospel.

20. All that I gave my Son to teach while he walked the earth shall be taught to those who will be taught;

21. But the ungodly and the worldly will not accept my words or my commandments and rebel against all good; they shall perish with their folly.

22. Again I say to all the earth, come out of her my people and be not partakers of her iniquities.

23. Seek out those whom I have called and given authority to represent me within my holy priesthood and seek the waters of regeneration that I may place my Holy Spirit within you which can convert your souls.

24. Peace unto the righteous, I grant my peace to all who hear and obey my truth saith the Lord your God. Amen

1. Unto the churches that call themselves by my name write; thus saith the Lord God of Israel; is it because you love me that you call yourselves by my name, or do you think there is magical power in my name?

2. I say unto you, believe not a lie and lean not upon magic, for magicians, fortune tellers and sooth sayers are abominable in my sight.

3. All power resides in me and it is through faith in me that what you call miracles is manifested unto men.

4. My saints who perform miracles call upon me in my name and according to their faith I grant them their requests.

6. Seek to understand my words that I have given you and by the word of my power, the Holy Ghost, the truth shall be confirmed unto you.

7. I have not nor shall I give my power unto another, and all professing to exercise my power are liars and hypocrites.

8. All my faithful servants who have sanctified themselves in preparation to come close unto me I have blessed and endowed them with my power on high to heal the sick, to cast out devils, yea even upon my command to raise the dead, all by my power and their faith in me.

10. Many of your prayers to me are like the tinkling of brass and are not brought with faith.

12. Pray in faith believing if you want me to answer your prayers; but be not deceived, I as your father cannot reward my children their petitions if they do not embrace my law and that truth in my commandments that is given for their benefit.

15. My law shall be a guide to your feet and a lamp to take away the darkness of your minds.

16. Cast in your sickles and reap, and store up treasures unto the time of my judgment; for all shall be judged by those works they bring forth that are worthy of my acceptance.

17. Seek to love me, my children, and in that love find strict obedience to your Fathers commandments which are my laws.

18. Then when you have found that love which is a great gift, share it with your fellow man.

19. Let my love grow in you that you become filled with love; and that love when shared shall bring you joy.

… it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief; when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. 775-732 BCE

[Psalm 16:10] For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. 460 BCE

[Psalm 110:1] The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. 460 BCE □

A common misconception is to perceive some sins as being minor. In truth, the only thing minor about these sins is their immediate consequences. An example is a "little white lie" which poses no noticeable harm. Although it may not affect anyone, it creates room for further transgression. When the sin is committed and not perceived as being worthy of repentance, it is being acknowledged as being acceptable. When these sins are accepted, it becomes easy to be more lenient with further transgressions, such a telling a slightly larger lie, or perhaps a different transgression such as stealing something small. Each time this is repeated, the standard for what is acceptable is lowered slightly more. Eventually, a transgression you once wouldn't dream of committing seems perfectly acceptable, since it is only slightly worse than what was done before. The Lord has stated that he does not look upon sin with the least degree of allowance (D&C Sec 1:5f), and with good reason too. No matter how minor the sin may seem, the Lord does not make concessions for it.

To prevent or even overcome such sins, it is necessary to first recognize any sin, however great or small, as being sin. By actively acknowledging that something is a sin, you give power back to your conscience to persuade you against it. The small concessions will become more uncomfortable to you, and it will be easier to refrain from them. However, this does not guarantee total abstinence from sin, but rather removes an unfair disadvantage so you can make your own decisions without biases. God gave man the right to do anything he wishes, but also with just consequences.

“Wherefore, men are free according to the flesh; and all things are given them which are expedient unto man. And they are free to choose liberty and eternal life, through the great mediation of all men, or to choose captivity and death, according to the captivity and power of the devil”

With this freedom, the Lord desires that we should choose him of our own will, rather than being forced to do so (Gen 7:40). It is up to each individual to make the effort to deny sin and choose God, and this choice must be made willingly. If one is forced to seek after God and to follow his commandments, then he does not have his God-given agency, and his forced efforts to do God’s will are in vain. All things that we do must be done of our own will, so that we can be accountable for our own actions.□
